Deborah
Gooch is an award winning artist residing in Vero Beach, Fl. and Taos, N. M. She is a narrative figural painter working in oils and acrylics. She studied painting at Maryland Institute College of Art as a Fine Art, Painting major. She continues her education by studying with various artists who's work she finds innovative.
Her college education led her to work as a freelance illustrator and commercial designer and decorator in Maryland and Florida. She also enjoyed a long career as an antiques dealer specializing in 18th and early 19th century furniture in original or early paint decorated finish. She often uses  the same painting techniques on her custom framing.
Deborah has shown her artwork in galleries and competitions in Florida, Maryland, Atlanta, and Michigan. She has exhibited, in Florida, in shows at the Indian River County Courthouse and County Building, the Backus Gallery in Ft. Pierce, Art by the Sea in the Vero Beach Museum of Art, 1090 Gallery in Vero Beach and Fifth Avenue Art Gallery in Melbourne. She was a contributing artist for Turtle Trax, which benefited the Mental Health Association and she was a "Give Cancer the Boot" artist at the Indian River Citrus Gala & Cattle Baron's Ball.
