I have always felt, when looking through photo albums, that the photos
where the subjects were "emoting" for the camera were the most intimate.
These photos gave me the most insight into the person's personality and sense
of humor.
I love drawing the human form. I love the hard edge the pencil provides and
I often tend to utilize that hard edge in my paintings. My work can become
intuitive. The lines and color can relate to my personal feelings about the
subject and the situation. The subject can at times become secondary to the
characteristics of the medium.
